Shape & Colour
Vivid, dark green coriaceous leaves and large lacquer red or pink flowers that will keep for months.
Light
It cannot stand direct sunlight. It favours a location in a window facing west in the summer and south in the winter.
Fertilisation
Slightly through the summer season and a little less in the winter.
Temperature
Normal room temperature, but a light and cool location in the winter will give better flowering in the spring.
Season
It flowers throughout the year - best in the spring months however.
