Databricks, a data and AI company, recently moved into a stunning new seven-story office in the heart of London. At Databricks, they’re passionate about creating spaces that foster innovation, collaboration, and growth. When it came time to the design of the new Windmill Street office, they knew one thing for sure: plants would play a crucial role in making their space feel complete. PlantCare worked with the designers, the project managers and the furniture providers to provide a scheme that perfectly complimented every element of the office.
The Challenge:

For their new office, they needed more than just a stylish design. They wanted a space that reflected their values of creativity, employee engagement, and well-being.
One key challenge was ensuring that the plants didn’t feel like an add on but tied in with the design of the space. The goal was to find plants that complemented the colour palette, aligned with the office vision, and, most importantly, brought life to the office.
The Solution:
We delivered an impressive biophilic transformation across all seven floors, incorporating colour matched pots that gave each floor a pop of colour. We also strategically selected the right plants for the right areas to ensure this was a planting scheme that was going to last and the plants would thrive. Working closely with Databricks’ furniture partners, we ensured the plants integrated seamlessly into the built-in furniture planters and that the overall look and feel of these aligned with the requested design.
